Days 18/19 – Weekend update

Day 19 – Saturday – Cardio

Breakfast (B) : Fibre-One, strawberries, soy milk, yoghurt with granola
Morning snack (A) : apple, dried fruit, walnuts
Lunch (A,B) : baked salmon, buckwheat, roast veges, 1 small slice bread
Afternoon snack (A) : cottage cheese, red pepper
Dinner (A) : 2 egg omelette with onions and mushrooms, salad
Water: Didn’t keep count, but I think I did ok – 2.5 – 3L

Exercise routine: Cardio intervals
Energizer done:  No (didn’t start exercising until 21:30)

Comments on today:
I feel my chest, arms, glutes and hamstrings from the workout 1 that I did yesterday.  I guess that means it’s all working.
During the cardio intervals tonight, during the 3rd and 5th interval, I stopped at 45s, instead of 1 min.  I’m not sure if I could have pushed myself for the other 15s or I was really spent.  We’ll see how the extended intervals goes on Monday.
I did really well on the food today.  After synagogue, there was lots of munchies but I didn’t take anything.  We then went to visit a friend who has a broken leg and even there, I only had fruit.  We also had bourekas (savoury pastries) at home and I haven’t touched them at all.

Day 18 – Friday- Workout 1

Nutrition: didn’t really keep a record, but I’d give it an overall grade of B.
Exercise routine: Workout 1
Energizer done: Yes, between warmup and workout 1

Comments on today:
I could have gone back to sleep in the morning after sending all the kids off to school but I said to myself, “No”.  This way, I had more than enough time to exercise, plan meals for the weekend, and cook.
We were invited out for Friday night meal which wasn’t so good nutritionally, but I didn’t do too bad.
